La Maison de Réflexion has been converted from a former forge in which cartwheels and handtools used to be made. It is decorated and furnished to a high standard and has been awarded 3-stars by the French tourist authorities whose representative, when concluding his assessment visit, kindly told us that it had been a wonderful start to his Monday morning!
The accommodation, which is on one level, benefits from a wood-burning stove and electric radiators and is therefore suitable for letting all year round. It sleeps up to four adults and comprises two bedrooms, one double and one twin, an integral lounge-diner with TV (French networks only), DVD and CD players and a good-sized shower room with WC and a hairdryer. A cot and high chair are also available upon request.
The American-style kitchen is well-equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, an iron and ironing board. A clothes washing service is also available.
The property has its own enclosed, south-facing, lawned garden suitable for children and dogs with views of the surrounding countryside and is equipped with garden furniture and a barbeque ideal for enjoying the views and the beautiful sunsets on our warm summer evenings.
