Gorgeous location with fantastic birdlife and a very comfortable gite. Andree and Gary are excellent hosts and have made us feel very welcome, as well as providing fabulous food and company. We would certainly like to come again.
Lovely gite - everything you need, spotless and cosy. We have enjoyed sitting here and relaxing after our walks, watching the birds and enjoying the views. You have both been so generous and welcoming.
A really warm welcome and beautifully prepared food. The gite is comfortable and well-equipped. You could not have done more to ensure we had a relaxing and interesting time. Also the French lessons were great. Lots of good walks especially for Baxter, our dog.
What a wonderful holiday with you once again ....the best bird sanctuary hide I have ever been in! It is difficult to describe the birdlife here....spectacular!

Een bijzondere plek met bijzondere mensen, heerlijk om uit te rusten en te genieten van de goede dingen in het leven. Een weldaad voor ons en onze viervoeter Solfari, die zo thuis was dat zijn gezondheid aanzienlijk is verbeterd. Tot volgend jaar dus, wij komen terug voor meer "slow".
As soon as we opened the door we knew we'd feel at home. Every little detail was carefully being thought over. We could see that you did this with love and care and alot of work. The evening meal was stunning and you gave us the advice to take it slow. Well, Andree and Gary, we could and we did. Thankyou for a lovely holiday and we hope to see you very soon. xx
We have had a lovely stay; the gite is absolutely beautiful, so well-equipped and such great views. We've really enjoyed the peace and quiet, lovely countryside, walking and cycling! Thankyou for making us feel so welcome, for your wonderful food. We hope to be back again before long.

"Slow holidays" - the first I have ever spent! A perfect setting with the most wonderful sunsets watched from the garden crowning the beauty of each day. The name of the gite speaks its purpose. Thankyou A&G for making this wonderful place open to us. My two dogs have enjoyed the walks even more than I have.

Thankyou for another wonderful week in your bijoux gite. This time I did follow your mantra - SLOW was the order of the day. I think doctors should put this gorgeous place on prescription! It would save alot of money on valium for the NHS. Thankyou for all your many kindnesses.
We have had a truly wonderful week. It was our first time in the Auvergne and we had some lovely walks under clear blue skies. We've enjoyed the gite with its fantastic views. Among our happiest memories though is the warm welcome we received. Our evenings with you were a sheer delight. We hope to return. Merci mille fois.
